When He Cometh

“When He Cometh” was written in 1857 by William Cushing for the children in his Sunday School. It is called the "Jewel Song' and comes from the promise in

Malachi 3:17: “And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of Hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels.”
