
Catherine Winkworth, was born September 13, 1827, in England, and died July 1, 1878. She was used of the Lord to translate several looks of German verses and hymns, one being "Now Thank We All Our God."
On July 1st, Catherine was suddenly attacked by a pain at the heart, and in half an hour later she had passed away. In 1848 for 2 years Catherine had a period of bad health. Catherine and her sister Susanna continued with their translations of the German works.
